All part-time faculty at Columbia College Chicago are part of our collective bargaining unit and protected by our union’s Collective Bargaining Agreement.
It is common for unions to require all employees to pay dues under what’s known as an agency shop agreement. An agency shop agreement requires all employees to pay a fee to the union as a condition of their employment.
